Cultivate Responsible Breeding

HLRSC strives to inspire breeders to cultivate a more promising future for the Holland Lop breed through education, competition, and the promotion of responsible breeding practices. To better prepare for a new breeding program or improve your current one, we hope the following resources will help guide and lead you to greater success!

Breeding Tips

Attend Events & Shows

Connecting people who love Holland Lop rabbits through competitions to help make their involvment in the Holland Lop breed one of the best and most memorable journeys of a lifetime. Participating or attending shows is also a great way to learn about the breed and meet new friends. Other far-reaching benefits of showing include supporting the breed club, promoting responsible ownership, and bettering the future of the Holland Lop.

Fundraising & Donations

Fundraising is one of the most important aspects the National Specialty because it allows individuals and organizations to raise money to help cover club projects and costs of member education, national show expenses, awards, banquets, scholarships, breed/club promotion, and more!

Donations, whether monentary, gifts, or live rabbits, are equally important because they help newer breeders to get a leg up, older breeders improve their genetic diversity, and special rabbits find wonderful homes where they can live happily as therapy animals, agility competitors, show champions, special 4-h projects, and every day companions.

Please help us to give back today!
